The Selection Process
Regina’s quality starts from the very first stage of plantations’ selection from which we imported green coffee beans. Once the green coffee comes in the country, it undertakes a very severe quality check in Trieste in order to be delivered to the roasting factory in Castiglione. there, we check it twice by hand as well as mechanically to leave out those beans that do not meet Regina quality’s standards
The Roasting Process
With more than 50 years of experience, our roasters hold the knowledge of mixing and roasting processes. The secret of our coffee blends and cooking temperatures have been improved over the years and locked by the hands of those who know the truth in the sound of a fragrant bean from the false one preserving the authenticity of the very first stages of the harvest.
Packaging & Storage
Our silos are able to contain up to 4,500 kilos of coffee, meaning about 15,000 bags of raw coffee. Coffee beans are left to naturally left for three days so that the aroma intensifies its body and gets the decisive character, which is at the same time sweet. After three days the beans are checked by our experts for a very perfect selection with the help of high-tech machines. In the end, the coffee is stored, and after having been roasted it is safely packed to be delivered. We are able to pack more than 120 kilos in less than 14 minutes. This allows us to meet important deliveries by guaranteeing the best suitable storage as possible.
